     Preparation of timely and accurate loan documents for consumer and mortgage loans using Laser Pro software. Communicates with loan originators, attorneys, and underwriters to ensure accurate processing.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    Consumer Loan and Real Estate Processing:

    • Utilizes Baker Hill Loan Origination Software and Laser Pro Software to prepare loan documents required for each specific loan type
    • Works with branch lenders and attorneys to obtain required information for complete and accurate loan documents
    • Acts as credit services contact for loan officers with questions about the Bank’s consumer loan process
    • Reports on loan pipeline activity and status
    • Ensures that closing documents are prepared and reviewed within the guidelines set forth in the approved Credit Memorandum
    • Prepares loan files for post-closing and booking, including document imaging preparation

     

    Provide Excellent Service to Internal and External Customers:

    • Answers incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner
    • Responds to inquiries/contacts branch employees, lenders, and third parties in a courteous and timely manner

     

    Maintain the integrity/quality of Credit Services:

    • Adheres to all Bank policies and procedures
    • Assists in updating policies and procedures when appropriate, including making suggestions for process improvements
    • Regularly reviews and complies with Consumer Loan regulations
    • Monitors all loan documents for compliance purposes

     

    Special Projects/Other Duties:

    • Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Three years of related experience, preferably in mortgage loan and/or construction loan processing and documentation.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and PC skills are required.
    • Must be detail-oriented.
    • Strong rapport-building, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential.
    • Ability to balance meeting daily objectives while promptly responding to telephone and email inquiries (multi-tasking).
    • Must be able to manage time wisely, yet have the flexibility to step outside of a typical routine to handle unexpected situations.
    • High school graduate or GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.
