    As the Human Resource Analyst, you will support the HR and Training team in analysis, reporting, implementation and maintenance of data / systems. The Human Resource Analyst will also assist in executing administrative duties based on cyclical HR business and talent rhythms.

    Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resource Analyst will include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
    • Optimizing and implementing (new) data processes and systems.
    • Maintain HR data tools, reporting and dashboards.
    • Produce and deliver standard (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized HR reports.
    • Respond to HR data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
    • Identify business problems and construct hypothesis that help solve these problems.
    • Hypothesis testing and data analysis to help business through recognition of patterns and validation of trends.
    • Maintain HR data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit HR data and troubleshoot irregularities. Support data governance processes.
    • Develop and maintain a data glossary.
    • Responsible for master data entry and cleanup.
    • Partner with HR, Training, Recruiting and Payroll on system upgrades and analyses.
    • Responsible for addressing a high volume of system-related activities in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction.
    • Helping to make the organization more data-driven.
    • Create monthly and quarterly HR metrics dashboard (turnover, time to hire).
    • Assist in evaluating compensation programs, policies.
    • Coordinate interview between candidates and hiring managers as needed.
    • Track 401k enrollment participation / contribution rates.
    • Analyze claims data.
    • Develop reporting on and track talent metrics, update branch and operations talent profiles.
    • Liaison with vendor partners like the VBA to implement system and process improvements/upgrades as needed with ADP, bswift, Alerus 401k admin.
    • Test functionality of new systems processes.
    • Document internal HR processes and procedures (process flows).
    • Assist HR Business Partner in recruiting activities as needed.

    • Review resumes, coordinate, schedule and conduct phone screens/interviews for Teller and Service Representative roles.

    • Run background and credit checks on applicants.

    • Conduct reference checks.

    • Review and pull AAP data from iCIMS – applicant flow, overtime hours, terminations.

    • Send candidate assessments.

    • Analyze internal movements.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor’s in human resource management, industrial/organizational psychology or a business-related field is preferred.

     

    Knowledge

    Minimum of 2 years HR experience and working with HR systems is required (ADP,iCIMS, Salary.com, LMS, etc. Relevant experience working with data analytics & reporting tools SharePoint/Tableau/PowerBI/R, Access, etc. Working knowledge of SQL. Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Pivot Tables, Word and PowerPoint is a must. Strong expertise in the scientific method of data collection, data analysis, and the translation of results into insights for the business. Some experience in project management and stakeholder management.

Outstanding listening skills are necessary for excellence in the role.  
    • Relationship Management: Able to Influence and persuade, manage relationships and stakeholder expectations. Involving the business in analysis and keeping them up to date in progress and potential setbacks.  
    • HR Expertise: Must possess knowledge of the science and regulations behind HR practices, knowledge of HR best practices, and understanding of key HR processes.  
    • Data Analysis, Reporting, & Maintenance: Ability to develop and create ad hoc reporting, dashboards, aggregation of data, maintaining HR data quality, and the analysis of data. Strong attention to detail and a strong drive to use data answer business questions. Ability to implement, maintain, cleanse, and update HR systems. 
    • Time and Project Management: Well-developed time management and multi-tasking skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint and especially Excel) is required.

    Abilities    

    Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels; use typical office equipment; able to comprehend concepts and put them into practical application.
