We are currently looking to add a valued member to our Fredericksburg team within our retail space. As a Relationship Banker, your mission is to:

Responsibilities

  • Mentors and coaches’ teammates on performance and goals.
  • Provide a consultative style of banking that builds customer relationships based on trust.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Assist with branch operations, delivering a remarkable customer experience, achieving sales and production goals, and handling transaction service requests.
  • Be a part of a team that requires attention to detail, managing multiple priorities, and have a passion for customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required; Associate degree or higher is preferred; a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Three plus years of cash handling experience is required.
  • Three- five years of experience in retail banking is preferred.
  • Availability to work Saturdays and travel to other team branches to provide support when needed.
  • Must have the ability to utilize standard PC based software.
  • Capacity to generate demand through prospecting and setting meetings.
  • High level of client service with the ability to be a self-starter and be comfortable interacting with external clients, centers of influence, and internal partners.
  • Must be able to excel in developing strong, trusting relationships and work well under deadlines with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task, think quickly and respond appropriately.
  • Physical demands of this role include view computer monitors, keyboarding, sitting, motion of fingers/hands/wrists, and standing/walking; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds for extended periods of time.
  • Work is performed in a retail branch environment.
