The primary focus is supporting facilities maintenance, upgrades, and physical security maintenance. This includes engaging and supervising service workers and repair providers. Administrative duties will consist of documenting daily work and contractor progress.

Special Projects/Other:
Attend training courses as needed to enhance the knowledge base and share the information as part of department training. Complete assigned training, including required tests, within the indicated timeframes. Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned. Approximately 50-75% travel to Bank locations and subsidiaries within central and eastern Virginia.
Education and Experience:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required to perform successfully in this role. Must effectively utilize technology tools, such as PC and MS Office. Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels is required. Must be effective with time management and be detail oriented. A demonstrated understanding of contractor management and the ability to effectively manage relationships is required. Must possess a strong aptitude for money management or budgeting. A working knowledge of facilities management is preferred. A demonstrated knowledge of maintenance standards and municipal building codes is preferred. Basic electrical, mechanical, and construction skills are strongly preferred.

Must be able to travel to all locations, including subsidiaries.

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: viewing computer monitors, keyboarding, sitting, motion of fingers/hands/wrists, and standing/walking, including the following physical demands periodically for extended periods: moving furniture (up to 100 pounds), driving long distances.
Work Environment:
Work is performed onsite in an operational office environment. Work is performed at all facilities, both inside and outdoors.
